Outdoor therapy

Exercise in nature can be the best medicine.

We are pleased to offer a number of adventure-based out door therapy sessions provided by our experienced and qualified staff.

Since the Covid pandemic, we have all become aware of how powerful it is to be in the great outdoors. It improves our physical well-being and our mental health, giving us the opportunity to have a fresh and positive outlook on our lives.

Something for everyone…

  • Hypnotherapy

    Provided by Matt Vowles (Dip Hyp), who is able to run a number of outdoor-based sessions. These sessions have a proven track record in assisting with fears and phobias, anxieties, confidence and tiredness.

  • Wake-up club

    Every Tuesday, 9:15-10:30.

    The best way to start your day. A healthy and sociable morning club for adults, in a relaxed environment with likeminded people from the local area.

  • First aid for mental health

    Our courses take a uniquely practical approach to creating competent and confident workplace first aiders who are able to spot the signs and respond to the mental and physical health needs of a person experiencing a mental health issue.

  • Adults adventure club

    Kicking off in 2023, our Adult adventure club is for anyone over 18 who wants to push themselves to do more in the outdoors.

  • One-to-one sessions

    Over the last few years we have run many one-to-one outdoor activity sessions for people from all backgrounds. Regular weekly outdoor activities for young people with special educational needs, home schooled teenagers, and adults with a desire to improve their confidence.

  • GP prescription outdoor activities

    In order ot improve phyiscal or mental wellbeing, our local GP is now prescribing outdoor activities through Dynamic Adventures.

  • Psychotherapy

    Together with Vikki Barns we are running a number of high quality team building and work-based pyschotherapies.
