In 2019 we designed and ran an excellent charity abseil for the NHS Breastcare Unit at Torbay Hospital who smashed their fundraising target and got great press coverage. Abseiling off a building near the office can be run as a team-build or fundraising event and is an eye-catching platform for publicity.

TYPES OF EVENTS WE’VE RUN
Solicitors’ firm Foot Anstey wanted to connect a number of employees split across multiple locations, promote closeness within the wider team and help individuals feel more connected to the organisation as a whole. They raised money for their chosen charity, whilst also raising their company’s profile thanks to the social media campaign which documented all the stages of their ambitious challenge in real time. Their walk started in Truro and finished in Bristol 12 days and X miles later, connecting colleagues from X offices along the way.
Royds Withy King followed suit with a 10 day, X mile charity walk connecting their offices in Bath through to St Paul’s in London.
To ensure success and optimum walking conditions we:
teams chose to be dropped 26, 18 or 10 miles away from their workplace, meeting up on their way back and arriving together. Their aim was to collectively walk or run the same distance as Lands End to John O’ Groats, each team member clocking in their miles on the company’s grand running total. This happened at each of the firm’s six offices on different days and was another huge success for their chosen cause and team’s connectedness.
