Morning sessions run from 10am - 1pm and afternoons from 2 - 5pm. The last bookable session of the day is at 4pm.
No – our public booking season usually begins at the start of the Easter holidays and finishes in September. The reason for this is that we run a full-time, one year residential instructor training course, work with many schools and run various expeditions in UK and abroad.

Yes, as long as your child is five years or above and happy to be left, you can book them onto any of our activities without you having to participate too. All of our staff hold Enhanced DBS, Safeguarding, L3 Outdoor First Aid certificates and are fully qualified. You are free to watch and take and pictures or drop them and go if you do not wish to attend.
All the activities are accessible for children from as young as five years old. Pre-schoolers can take part in canoeing by sitting in between adults but are usually too small to access the other activities.
All of them! Rock Climbing, Abseiling and Ziplining are usually considered the most high adrenaline; Kayaking and Paddleboarding are also great options for building independence.
For land-based activities, you’ll need to wear rough, outdoor, weather appropriate clothes and trainers or other closed toe shoes. For river-based activities, you’ll need to wear lightweight, weather appropriate layers and shoes you don’t mind getting wet; old trainers or wetsuit boots are ideal (no Crocs/ Flip-Flops). You might also want to bring a spare set of dry clothes to change into afterwards.
You don't need a wetsuit in summer however you are welcome to bring your own one if you'd like to wear it. We do have a range of wetsuits + wetsuit boots here available to borrow if required.
Yes, totally fine. Well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.

You can do the activities that do NOT require you to use a harness. You can’t do the ones which do. These are: Abseiling, Rock Climbing and Ziplining.
We go ahead whatever the weather unless there are extreme weather warnings so you need to come prepared for the weather on the day of your booking. We rarely cancel for bad weather but in the unusual event that we do, we would seek to offer alternative activities in the first instance or an alternative date.
No. Our part of the Dart above the weir does vary depending on the amount of rainfall. This means that occasionally, following very wet weather, the river can be too fast (even if it's fine on the day of your booking). We suggest planning a backup date as insurance against this or being willing to do alternative land-based activities instead. This doesn’t happen often and rarely in summer months.
If you want to cancel your booing, you must tell us immediately in writing no later than 48 hours before the date of the booking. No refunds will be made of any payments already made.
