Worldwide Expeditions

We Have 15 years experience running amazing Expeditions all Over the world!

Costa Rica

We have run a number of expeditions to Costa Rica for a month each time. It is a
wildlife hotspot with 12% of the world's biodiversity, and our trips have included working with an international charity for Turtle Conservation. The country is full of volcanos and deep jungle, and also has coastlines on both the Pacific and the Caribbean, providing a really diverse location.

Typical Itinerary:

Week one - Fly to San Jose for a full week of adventure including Volcano Spa, White Water rafting, Horse riding and Surfing.

Week two - Day conservation with the turtle project on the Caribbean Coast, working
with scientists through the night to protect baby hatchlings and large Leather
Back mums on the beach. This is a truly life changing experience.

Week three - Trek to the summit of Chiripo, the highest in Central America.

Week Four - Rest and relax on the Pacific Coast with chance to surf in warm water!

In July 2014 we took a group from a school in the South East of England to Alaska. We flew to the town of Fairbanks where we then drove to a village called Circle. From here we began our 8 day canoe adventure into the wilderness down The Yukon, in true Dynamic Adventures style, using local guides along the way. We then travelled by sea plane to the Rocky Mountains to trek up to and near Mount McKinley - the highest in North America.

We helped with conservation on the remote area on the coast and then after some site seeing and a day spent at Chena Hot Springs we travelled back via New York, (yes NEW YORK!) for three days of complete contrast. One of our instructors now lives in New York as a TV Presenter and has agreed to show us around.

Wow, a trip of a life time! Needless to say our instructors are competing to go on this expedition!

Alaska and New York

Canada - The West Coast

In 2012 we took our first school group to the west coast of Canada in search of
real wilderness.

The first thing we did was an 8 day trek down the Pacific Trail on Vancouver
Island. It was fantastic; with whales just off the beach, complete isolation for
7 days, bears, bald eagles, camping on the beach, trekking through the forest, and, most importantly, no phone signal! (Something everyone in this day and age should experience!) One of the top rated walks in the world.

Next we worked with the Conservation Department of Canada on a reserve on the Island, building a bridge, planting indigenous trees and monitoring Blue Birds.

After a stint of sea kayaking we headed inland from Vancouver on a two week road trip across the Rockies visiting Lake Louise, Banff, and rock climbing in Squamish, then on to Calgary.

This is a phenomenal place to visit, one of our group was so inspired they went to live there for a year!

Peru has such great diversity; the stunning mountains of the Andes (which are covered in snow all year round), it's incredible history with the Incas, and the amazing jungle of the Amazon.

Dynamic Adventures have run three expeditions to Peru and each time we have completed a 5 day trek along the world famous Inca trail. We have visited the Amazon Rainforest and spent a week there to see it's full splendour; we have also spent time high in the Andes at an altitude of 4000m.

For 8 days we worked with the community to build a large green house to help with the propagation of fruit for a whole community!

Patagonia - The Torres del Paine Circuit

This is an outstanding circuit to trek, a spectacular foray around the high peaks of Torres del Paine, following remote trails through undulating grasslands and woodlands to the least visited part of the National Park.

Hiking above the forest you will enter a world of granite peaks, hanging glaciers and glacial lakes as we forge a route over the John Garner Pass. Here you are rewarded with spectacular views of the Grey Glacier and even as far as the Patagonian Ice Cap before completing a rugged descent to the shores of Lago Grey.

Continuing the circuit south you will enjoy forays up in to the French Valley and the Ascensio Valley before finally ascending to the base of Torres del Paine for one of the most unforgettable mountain views in the world!

Sea kayak around the Abel Tasman coastline to Seal Island and Split Apple Rock. Swim with wild dolphins at Kaikoura and complete a 5 day trek around the base of Mount Cook along the spectacular Route Burn Track and the Green Sands Way.

New Zealand South Island is the global mecca for all adventure enthusiasts and will provide a life-long experience that is both memorable and inspiring.

New Zealand - South Island

Borneo

Taking in all that Borneo has to offer, this expedition includes the opportunity to take on Mt Kinabalu at 4101m, and the chance to visit orangutans at a rehabilitation centre - watching them learn skills to survive in the wild.

A main part of this expedition will be a conservation project helping to protect the survival of orangutans.

Fun and adventure is a running theme, with walking through the tree canopies and white water rafting down some amazing rivers. What more could you want on a trip of a life time!

Kamchatka is without exaggeration one of the most spectacular regions in the world. A land of volcanoes, fire and ice, active boiling springs, geysers, waterfalls and volcanic sculptures displaying a multitude of colours that took millions of years to create. The region is such a geographical phenomenon it has created its own unique flora and fauna. A number of the regions we will visit are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Its shores are on the Pacific and it's in one of the remotest places on Earth - you will find it at the far Eastern tip of Russia beyond Siberia.

The trip will include trekking up and around a number of the most interesting volcanoes in Kamchatka, a visit to the Valley of Geysers, bathing in the Semyachik hot springs and the opportunity to see a diverse collection of flora and fauna plus more than half of the world's Steller's Sea Eagles as well as the largest population of Brown Bears.

Kamchatka
