Rock Climbing on Dartmoor

Come climb with us and discover the famous granite tors of Dartmoor.

The real deal! Experience our unique outdoor rock face on Dartmoor with the addition of artificial holds, to get you to the top of our epic, 12-metre limestone rockface. With a selection of routes varying in difficulty, we have something for everyone; whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned climber.

Join us for an hour’s session, or combine it with 1 of our other land-based activities to enjoy an adventurous half-day rock climbing on Dartmoor. We also offer 1:1 sessions at a set price. Your day rock climbing on Dartmoor

On arrival, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly instructors and asked to fill out a medical consent form. From here you’ll be provided with all the kit and shown how to correctly adjust it. The instructor will provide you with a safety brief, and depending on your ability and previous experience will tailor the session to your individual needs. A session could be based around improving technique, learning how to tie in and belay or simply enjoy and experience climbing.

Climbing is available to anyone aged 5 and over with the general rule of “if we can fit you in a harness, you’re good to go!” We also have wheelchair access to the base of the quarry.

Please pack in your rucksack….

●       Drink Bottle

●       Snack

●       Waterproof coat and trousers (weather dependent)

●       Warm Layer (weather dependent)

●       Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting muddy. Long sleeves are optional

● Closed-toed shoes that can be securely fastened to your feet (No wellies or crocs. Please bring your own climbing shoes if owned.)
